Who is it for?

This is the English book for a Class 2 student on the Allied School list, usually six or seven years old. The step from copying words to writing sentences is the main job of this year, and the "fill in, complete, then write" steps give a child something to lean on. Parents will also like the values stories: each one ends with a topic a child can talk about at home.

Why this book?

When and how is it used?

Schools usually work through the five units in order across the year, with the review after unit 5. At home, read the story first, then do the vocabulary pages, then speak the answers aloud before writing them.
