What is this book?
Class 5 social studies takes the six strands of the primary course to a deeper level. Citizenship goes beyond rights to civic virtues and digital citizenship. Culture looks at all regions of Pakistan. State and government introduces the three organs of the state and the Constitution. History tells the story of the Pakistan Movement. Geography uses latitude and longitude and the mountain ranges. Economics covers money, banking, savings and trade.
A ten-year-old who finishes this book should be ready to follow the news with understanding and to move on to the more demanding social studies of Class 6.
