What is this book?

In Class 5 the child reads Paras 19 to 30 of the Quran, memorises Ayat-ul-Kursi and Surah Al-Feel and Quraish, and learns the Fatiha, Attahiyat, Durood Ibrahimi and Dua-e-Qunoot with their meaning. The book also covers belief in the Hereafter and the finality of prophethood, Zakat, Friday and the two Eids, and a longer seerah chapter with the Meraj, the pledges of Aqaba, the migration to Madinah, the brotherhood and charter of Madinah, the Prophet's Mosque and the battles.

Manners, relationships and the lives of Hazrat Dawud, Hazrat Isa, Hazrat Ali and the Sufi saints follow, and the book closes with accident precautions and the importance of plants and trees. A glossary (Farhang) is on page 106.

Take one lesson a week from chapter 3. Read it aloud, locate the places on a map (Makkah, Taif, Madinah) and ask: what was hard, what did the Prophet ﷺ do, and what can we learn?
