What is this book?
Primer B is the next step after Primer A. Children now know numbers up to 30, so the first chapter, Numbers, starts with a "Do you remember?" revision and continues with numbers 31 to 40 and 41 to 50, missing numbers, number sequences, writing in tens and ones, numbers in words 1 to 20, count and write, numbers before, after and between, counting backwards, ascending and descending order and even and odd numbers.
The other chapters are shapes (cube, cuboid, sphere, cone, cylinder, then square, rectangle, triangle and circle, and linking shapes), patterns, addition of 1-digit numbers, addition with zero and making 10, subtraction of 1-digit numbers, with zero and from 10, measurements (length and weight), time (reading time, calendar), comparison (big and small, long and short, tall and short, light and heavy), position (above and below, before and after, behind and in front of, over and under, far and near) and money (coins and notes).
The cover shows a child riding a bicycle with a helmet, a friendly reminder about safety that matches the playful style of the book.
