Write & Wipe Early Learning – English is the reusable English workbook for Prep (age five and above) on the Allied School Prep list on this site. It is part of a series written by Khalida Hassan with co-author Aqsa Abad. Instead of a page that a child fills in once, every page is meant to be written on with an erasable marker, wiped clean and written again as many times as it takes for the idea to stick. It has 17 topics, and this page is written for the 2027-28 session.
Exams Book House, Shop Number 4, Al Fazal Market, Urdu Bazar, Lahore, supplies it with cash on delivery across Pakistan and delivery to the Gulf countries.

What is this book?
The idea is "repeat until confident". A Prep-age child rarely gets a skill right the first time, and a workbook that is "used up" after one go does not give them the practice they need. This one lets a child come back to the same topic at their own pace. Colourful pictures keep each try engaging, and the repeated writing builds handwriting and pen control.

- Doing and pointing (topics 5 to 8). Action words, this and that, pronouns and the verbs is, am and are.
- Building and checking (topics 9 to 11). Word building, true or false statements and opposites.
- Reading (topics 12 to 17). A short read called "All About Wooly", position words, question words, describing words, a reading comprehension page and a "What is Happening?" picture page to finish.
Why a write-and-wipe book?
- A mistake wipes away, so children try again without worry.
- The same page can be reused, which makes extra practice at home easy.
- Writing with a marker builds the control a child needs for pencil writing.
Who is it for?
Prep students on the Allied School list, about five years old, and the parents and teachers who use it. You will need an erasable marker and a cloth or tissue.
How to help at home
- Use a dry-erase marker, never a permanent one, and test on a corner.
- Read the instruction aloud, let your child answer aloud, then write.
- Wipe the page together and say, "Let's try again for fun."
- Return to the same page after a week to see progress.

How to run a fifteen-minute session
A Write & Wipe book works best in short, cheerful sessions.
- Pick one topic. For example, "Opposites" on page 11.
- Read the instruction aloud and let your child answer aloud first.
- Write with the marker. Check the answer together.
- Wipe and repeat. Wipe the page with a dry cloth and let your child try again, faster and neater.
- Say one sentence. Finish by using one of the words in a spoken sentence.
Care of the book
Always use a marker made to be wiped, test it on a corner first, and wipe soon after use so marks do not stay. Keep the spiral binding closed when it is not in use and store the book flat.
Which topics to repeat
Pronouns, "is, am, are" and question words are the hardest for most five-year-olds. Return to these pages at the end of each week. Easier topics such as vowels or opposites can be a warm-up.
