Almost every lesson names Pakistan, for example the link between climate and rainfall in Pakistan, farming and livestock in Pakistan, climate change as a challenge for Pakistan, and minerals and energy resources in Pakistan.

Each chapter ends with a Test yourself page, and the glossary on page 71 explains the new words.

Linking geography to the news

Climate, floods, water shortages and electricity are in the news every week. A Class 7 student who reads the news with the book beside them can connect a headline to a chapter: where is that river, what crop grows there, what makes the weather change? That habit is the best preparation for secondary geography.
