What is this book?

The book starts where a child lives: a neighbourhood, a community, a village and a city, the work people do and the games they play. It then moves to rules and responsibilities at school and at home, to our country, Pakistan, with its government and festivals, and finally to the Earth: the Sun, landforms, natural resources, water, plants and farm animals.

The same author writes the series for Classes 4 and 5, so a child who starts with Know Your World 2 will meet familiar ideas, such as citizenship, culture and geography, in a more detailed form in later years.
