What is this book?

Where a Learner's Book is for reading and talking, a workbook is for writing. In Class 5 the writing becomes longer and more varied: stories with a message, factual pieces about space, reflective writing, retellings of old stories, instructions, a different kind of story, rewriting a text another way, giving an opinion, and a closing unit about Pakistan.

Using the workbook with the Learner's Book

A good routine is to read the matching Learner's Book unit first, talk about it, and only then open the workbook. Let your child try each exercise alone, then check it together. Skills that Class 5 English builds
