What a Class 4 unit asks of the child
Each unit gives a topic (families, stories, day and night, homes, getting around, school lunch, Australia, the human race, looking backwards and forwards), then asks the child to read, listen, write and discuss it. Grammar is taught inside the topic, for example comparatives and superlatives in the day-and-night unit and past tenses in the stories unit.
Using the reviews
A review unit is a good time to stop and look back. If your child finds one part hard, go back to that unit and read the main text again aloud before moving on.
